We are doing this for free?
Yes! We were working with, but are not a part of, Who Gives A Scrap! to set up this display and provide curated kits with designed instructions by Michelle Miller single-handedly gave over 280 hours and with about 40 hours of donated time by others (Thanks John, Cheech, Belinda, Sally, and Daisy!) over the past almost two and a half years. JUST for these kits at this location.
This is a lot of effort and time for two disabled individuals who want to keep doing this but need to cover food and necessities too.

To help us keep this going, we ask you take some time to look and possibly purchase from our shop. We do accept donations, be we prefer you pick something you like from our shop that we have personally made!

Thanks for visiting our website.
We hope you enjoy the kits!

"Simple Upcycle"
Instructions
We were generously donated a bunch of demo game cards from two regulars at Crafter's Clique craft group we attend at Rainy Day Anime store.

So we decided to make some fun kits for you that starts with a very simple structure, yet leaves you open to a vast variety of creative choices.

Feel free to use any items you may have around you to add unique additions to your card!

Some examples of what we could make with this kit you picked up!
1
Look At Your Materials
Take a look at the items provided. You may want to grab glue, scissors, and a pen or permanent marker. There will be two demo game cards as your ATC blanks (we will be using the blue and orange fire side of the card only), 2 ATC backings, ONE scalloped square as a size reference, two upcycled product cardboard, and some art pages.
2
Focus of Your Card
In the center of the fire card is the word "universus" which is about 1 and a quarter inch in length. So the item you will have as your focal point will need to be at least that in length. The Scalloped Square is to help be a size reference. You'll be given a few magazine and manga pages to pick from or you can grab any product cardboard you may have nearby and doodle something on that! You can see for our example we have an emote figure or a painted and a cut-out heart. The heart will go on top of the scalloped square that covers the word.

3
Word Me
What word or two would go with the image you chose? Is is something deep and personal? Is it just literally naming the item? Is it making a reference? You get to decide! Stick to ONE or TWO words max.
4
Glue It Down
Figure out where you want to put the focal item and that it covers the word completely. Do you want your words above or below? Then when satisfied, glue it down!
4
Sign and Date
The final step of every card should be for you to sign and date your card!
Fill out the ATC Backing then glue it on the back.

Extras: How does the "Godzilla" card have that shadow under it?
Puffy Tape! Or in this case Puffy Sticky Squares. In the last photo, the upper left corner are a type of puffy stickers that add depth to projects. The sign underneath that says "Godzilla" also has puffy tape.
