ATC
"Clear Tape"
Instructions
Try this simple two-sided ATC craft. Make sure to keep in mind that you can see a design from both sides! Don't forget to sign and date the edge to complete the card.
Read through the instructions and look at the examples/steps before starting.

Some other ideas of arrangement or items that you could add in with what's around you. Cut out pieces from magazines to make your own random wise sayings.
1
Look At Your Materials
WARNING: Be careful of the ATC frame taped on the plastic. They are LIGHTLY pressed down for easier removal. If they are overly stuck, you may need to get new clear packaging tape to seal things down.
-You can use scotch tape but depending on the clear or translucent look of the tape you have, may interfere with your design.
Take a look at the items provided. Each person gets ONE Clear Tape ATC Base, shaped papers, words, and various items to work with. You will need scissors and possibly a glue stick.
Feel free to add any other items you may have nearby!
2
Preparing Your Base
Take the ATC frame, with the tape still attached to the back, and peel it away carefully. Lay that piece with the sticky side facing UP TOWARDS YOU. Because of this, be careful of stray hairs or floating dandruff falling onto your tape. This is also where you will be sticking the small items to make your design. You'll be building towards you so think of putting down the background FIRST. Then place items closest to you in perspective, on top.
3
Design!
Keep in mind that with this style of ATCs, you can create a design to see through the other side (think of holding it up to the sky and seeing the clouds through it) OR you can make two designs depending on which side you are looking at. Confetti and sequins have two sides that can be seen, stickers, and words only have one side. Some papers have two patterns on the front and the back. Think about this when planning your idea out.
4
Seal It Down
While you are putting together your design, you may want to use a little glue to hold items down. The static electricity may build when you try to seal it down with the tape. So the glue will hold it in place until you seal the whole card. On the other side of the plastic you pulled your ATC frame from, peel off the tape. Carefully line up the edges of the tape so that it barely covers both long frame sides to seal in your design. Sign and date the edge.
note: If the tape was pressed too tightly onto the plastic, you may need to get new clear packaging tape to seal it down.
