What's Going On?
The list below is the free Artist Trading Card Instructions Michelle has come up with. We have decided it's time to allow everyone full access to encourage you to stretch your imagination and creativity!
Feel free to message us with your creations and let us know which instruction you had the most fun with~ We can also share your art here if you'd like!
Just FYI
Please Note: No items will be provided for the following instructions, as these are from past releases. You will need to gather the required materials yourself. A list of needed items is included in the first section.
In general, you may need basic supplies such as a pen, glue, and scissors.
S5 - Collage Kits
Basic pick and glue cards! You are given various papers, embellishments, and sometimes stickers or random items to choose from.

Watercolor
This kit had included some watercolor drops and a paintbrush with watercolor paper ATC blanks. Any media is welcome as long as the canvas you are working on is 2.5"x3..5"!

Stencil This!
Given two letter stencils to create unique patterns to look at stencils as a 'shape' rather than what it represents.

Paper Mosaic
You are given a selection of little colored shapes from squares, circles, diamonds, triangles and more to arrange into a mosaic pattern. What will you design?

Color Palette
Using various colored squares, find a good combination of 3-5 colors. Organize them in the center horizontally next to each other. Then NAME this palette! This color selection can be shared and very useful to other artists who many use YOUR card as inspiration!

Kids Art Expression
From the Mental Health month focus- Kids were given prompts asking them to draw or collage what they think of when it comes to different emotions: Happy, Sad, Angry, Fear and so on.

Alphabet Stickers
Given a selection of half used letter stickers and challenged to come up with a picture or design only using the pieces available.

White on Black (or Dark Blue)
Given a white crayon or color pencil, and either Black or Dark Blue colored ATC Blank, they are asked to come up with a design or idea that fits with a light-on-dark color combination.

Sticker!
Given a bright orange sticker in the shape of an ATC blank as well as a pen to doodle on it. You can either keep it unused or immediately stick your design anywhere! Keep in mind the orange tape is not meant to endure the elements so in a notebook or a computer casing would be best.

Squeegee
Paint and Scrape your way to an awesome background or complete card!

Watercolor Split
This kit was similar to the previous one except instead of painting an ATC blank the shape was not the right size. So instead, painted it all then cut it in half and centered it over a plain black card to focus on part of the design you painted! Make a quick art piece look classy~

Outline That!
The partner of 'Stencil This!' but that you focus on the outline shape of the letters provided.

Color Square Mosaic
Similar to the previous one except this one only has little squares with colors on both sides to choose from. Going for a kitchen/bathroom tile style mosaic this time!

Envelope Kits
This collage kit comes in an envelope to help encourage making a second card and mailing it out to someone! Find a sticker with a sentiment (Thinking of you, Happy Birthday, etc) and create a card for someone you thought of. Make sure to mail it to let them know you are thinking of them!

Adult Therapy
From the Mental Health focus- Adults were given questions to reflect on about life or themselves and draw or collage what came to them. These aren't meant to be traded and are more for personal reflections. Emphasizing Art as Therapy!

Pencil Test
Another challenge involves three different pens or pencils for people to try. This is for people to understand the feel of the media they are using and see if they can tell the difference when using them. The TYPE of material you are using, such as quality, can encourage or discourage your artistic flow!!

Simple Upcycle
We were donated quite a few demo packs that can be reused as ATC blanks! So going through some ideas of seeing how to reuse

Positive and Negative Space
The partner of 'Stencil This!' but that you focus on the outline shape of the letters provided.
